The First Nations Partnership Pathway Plan (PPP)

Created by Mob, for Authentic Partnerships.

Although many reconciliation programs across Australia are designed and managed by non-Indigenous organisations, the First Nations Partnership Pathway Plan (PPP) stands apart as the first fully mob-led cultural partnership framework.

Developed and governed by First Nation Certified, the PPP is created by mob, for authentic partnerships — empowering organisations to walk with First Nations people in genuine collaboration, guided by cultural integrity, truth-telling, and economic inclusion.

Our model shifts reconciliation from policy to practice — from symbolic gestures to real, measurable change that strengthens communities, supports self-determination, and drives cultural and economic growth.

Why it exists

For too long, reconciliation frameworks have been driven by non-Indigenous systems that often fail to reflect community needs, cultural values, or lived experience.

The First Nations Partnership Pathway Plan was created to return ownership, leadership, and direction back to mob.
It ensures that reconciliation and partnership initiatives are community-driven, culturally guided, and measured by outcomes that make a real difference.

The PPP exists to:

  • Empower businesses to build genuine, respectful relationships with First Nations people.

  • Embed culture, respect, and accountability into business operations.

  • Support self-determination by ensuring partnerships are led by mob.

  • Drive economic participation, employment, and business growth in First Nations communities.

Our Model and Approach

The PPP is structured around a four-tier model, designed to help organisations progress from awareness to leadership

Each level is reviewed and verified by the First Nation Certified Cultural Advisory Panel to ensure integrity, transparency, and cultural alignment.
Verified partners receive a digital certification badge — a visible symbol of authentic commitment to reconciliation and partnership.

Guiding Principles

Truth & Transparency – Real accountability begins with honest reflection.

  • Cultural Integrity – Every action must respect culture, Country, and community.

  • Economic Empowerment – Real change means creating jobs, contracts, and business opportunities for mob.

  • Self-Determination – The PPP is led, owned, and governed by First Nations people.

  • Accountability – Verified by mob, ensuring actions match commitments.

How It Works

Cultural Readiness Assessment – Understanding where your organisation is today.

  • Customised Plan – A tailored pathway aligned with your business goals and cultural objectives.

  • Implementation Support – Guided actions including training, consultation, and partnership development.

  • Verification & Recognition – Independent cultural verification and annual certification.

  • Ongoing Growth – Continuous learning, reporting, and renewal through First Nation Certified.

Why Choose the PPP

The First Nations Partnership Pathway Plan isn’t a compliance document — it’s a living, community-driven framework for real partnership and change.

Choosing the PPP means your organisation is:

  • Working with mob, not speaking for us.

  • Building authentic partnerships grounded in trust and respect.

  • Creating lasting change through self-determination, truth-telling, and action.

It’s the new standard for reconciliation — First Nations-led, culturally verified, and community accountable.
